If you are seeking school-based occupational therapy opportunities, please reach out (info@apexot.com), particularly if you are interested in assisting with school-based OT evaluations or OTA supervision. We cover several charter schools in the Triangle and can often use additional support, even when don’t have full time positions available. We can often be flexible to provide hours based on what you need.

Internships

We have had interns in the past and are open to considering this again. We can only offer unpaid internships at this time. Because we do not have a therapy office, internships may be remote or onsite at our schools.

Shadowing/Volunteering

We love to support the next generation of occupational therapists! If you wish to shadow with us you will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and are responsible for providing a background check that was completed within the last 6 months. We can run this for you, but you must cover the cost (it is approximately $50). Most of the sites available for shadowing are in Hillsborough and Durham.
